The Indian team recorded their second consecutive corona case on the tour of England. Already young wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant has been ruled out of playing as a result of Corona. TeamIndia will play a five-Test series against England from August 4 to September 14. The team was recently given a 20-day break. During which, some cricketers toured tourist destinations in England, while others proceeded to stadiums to watch Wimbledon and Euro Cup matches. The belief is Rishabh Pant has contracted corona virus when he sat along with his friends in the stadium to watch the Euro Cup. Some critics finger-pointed that Pant did not wear a mask, especially when he went to watch the Euro Cup match.
In this background, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly strongly supported Rishabh Pant. Currently, the regulations have changed and in real life it is difficult to wear masks completely. Recently, Dada said, "We have seen the Euro Championship and Wimbledon in England. The rules have changed as fans were allowed into the stadiums. However it is impossible to wear masks all day. Anyways, Pant’s health is improving. Ganguly added that he would join the team as soon as the negative reports come from Corona Tests.
