Former Team India cricketer and commentator Sanjay Manjrekar shared that Team India star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja does not speak good English and that’s one of the reasons why Jadeja had misunderstood Manjrekar’s comments on ‘Bits and Pieces’.
Manjrekar said this while he was in a conversation with a netizen about ‘Bits and Pieces’ affair.
Recently, a netizen named Surya Narayan leaked a Twitter chat he had with Manjrekar. In it, Manjrekar had said that Jadeja does not understand English and doesn’t even comprehend what Manjrekar was saying. He even added, “Jadeja did not understand the meaning of “Bits and Pieces”, neither does he make an effort to understand.”
Going further, Manjrekar even joked that someone might have told Jadeja the words ‘verbal diarrhea’ otherwise he would not even have known them. Manjrekar did not stop at that, he also spoke to the netizen quite rudely, saying “I'm not a fan like you to praise him, I am an analyst.”
Sanjay Manjrekar made these controversial remarks during the 2019 ODI World Cup. It all started when he addressed Ravindra Jadeja as a ‘Bits and Pieces’ cricketer. Jadeja also reacted strongly to these comments. “I have played and still play twice as many matches as you have played in your career. Learn to respect those who have achieved something.” With these words, he gave a strong punch saying stop your verbal diarrhea.
