Former India cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar said that star players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will face troubles, if India does not play a practice match ahead of the World Test final against New Zealand.
He also made several interesting remarks while speaking in an interview recently. Kohli and Rohit have been playing for a long time. Both are terrific batsmen. Both are very proud of their performances and the success they handed out to Team India recently. Right now, they are also in amazing form. However, Vengsarkar said lack of a practice match before the final would definitely bother them in the actual matches.
He was also of the opinion that the Indian team is better than New Zealand. Vengsarkar was of the opinion that lack of expectations and the fact that they are already playing against England could turn out in favor of the Kiwis a tiny bit. He explained that New Zealand had a slightly upper hand and a better chance of winning than Team India in the finals. In this context, Team India also needs two or three practice matches. Vengsarkar said Team India must get used to the conditions there by playing the practice matches.
If so .. The Indian cricket team led by Virat Kohli has started practice in England. The players enter the field in the wake of the prestigious World Test Championship against New Zealand starting on June 18. TeamIndia started practicing after completing three days of rigorous quarantine. With the quarantine ending on Saturday, some players practiced in full on Sunday.
