On Monday, lead actor of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Megastar Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha flew down to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s residence in Amravati, upon the CM’s formal invitation. The meeting of the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and the Tollywood actor took place at the CM’s residence in Amravati today afternoon.
Both Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha were given a warm welcome by the Chief Minister YS Jagan and his wife Bharathi. Chief Minister YS Jagan was then felicitated by Megastar Chiranjeevi with a shawl after which pleasantries were exchanged.
Their meeting is said to have not revolved around politics, as Megastar Chiranjeevi requested the CM to watch his recently successful film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Megastar Chiranjeevi thanked the Chief Minister who granted permission to screen 6 shows of the film in theatres of Andhra Pradesh daily. He had also congratulated Chief Minister YS Jagan on becoming the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh with a record majority.
After the luncheon and the meeting concluded the Chief Minister YS Jagan took to Facebook and conveyed a warm message. He wrote “Had a warm meeting with Sye Raa himself. May Chiranjeevi garu keep giving us many more smiles and memories.”
