Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad, the german cultural centre in association with the Department of Language and Culture, Government of Telangana is bringing to you outstanding children’s films for your little ones.
The Childrens’s Film Festival International is being held from 4th November to 6th November, 6:00pm onwards at the Paidi Jairaj Preview Theatre in Ravindra Bharati, Hyderabad. 3 International films from around the world will be showcased for the duration of the festival, with one movie screened each day.
On November 4th the movie ‘Tom Sawyer’ will be screened at 6:00pm. Tom Sawyer is the film based on the popular children’s novel written by Mark Twain called The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. The film Tom Sawyer is about Tom and his pal Huckleberry Finn who have great adventures on the Mississippi River, pretending to be pirates, attending their own funeral and witnessing a murder.
On November 5th the movie ‘Conni & Co.’ will be screened at 6:00pm. Conni & Co is a light-hearted and fun German film about the lively and adventurous Connie and her best friend Paul. The story revolves around Connie and Paul’s life where Paul has to make a decision of being with his cool new set of friends or Connie.
On November 6th, Kids who attend the film festival will get to watch the childrens film ‘Mondscheinkinder’ (Original title), which is also called ‘Children of the Moon’ (English Title) which is directed by Manuela Stacke. This film is about Paul and his sister Lisa. Paul wants to become an Astronaut and his sister Lisa wants to be his assistant in the spaceship. The story revolves around their lives and the dramatic turn of events as Paul falls sick and how they cope with it.
So take your kids today, tomorrow and the day-after to Ravindra Bharathi and watch these amazing kids’ movies, every day at 6:00pm from November 4th to 6th. Do not miss out!
