Mega Powerstar Ram Charan has been very busy the last couple of month with the success of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy produced by his production company Konidela Production Company, also taking up film projects to produce and acting for SS Rajamouli’s upcoming period drama RRR, in which Ram Charan will be sharing screen space with young tiger Jr. NTR.
And in this process, a couple of month back, during the promotions of Syee Raa Narasimha Reddy in Kerala, Ram Charan revealed that he has purchased the rights and will be remaking the famous Malayalam film Lucifer in Telugu in which his father megastar Chiranjeevi will play the lead character.
Curiosity has been rising among Chiru and Charan fans about who will be directing this Telugu remake and there was on-going buzz in the industry that Ram Charan had approached director Sukumar, who has now declined the offer due to his various other film commitments.
According to sources, Ram Charan has now approached mass director V.V Vinayak to take up the direction of the project which is not yet confirmed. If the buzz is anything to go by then we would see the action, direction and production combination of Chiranjeevi, V.V Vinayak and Ram Charan deliver a thriller towards the latter half of 2020.
