It is known news that Akkineni Nagarjuna, one of the most loved actors of the Tollywood industry is part of Ayan Mukherjee’s upcoming fantasy drama Brahmastra which stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles.

Actor Nagarjuna who is making his comeback into Bollywood cinema after more than a decade now, is all set to star in Brahmastra and sources have revealed that Nagarjuna will be playing the role of an Archaeologist in this upcoming Bollywood film.

According to a report by the newspaper Mumbai Mirror, Nagarjuna will play the role of an Archaeologist in the movie who takes his students on an expedition along the banks of the river Ganga. Sources revealed that most of Nagarjuna’s shoot has been done at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the Chet Singh Fort and along the banks of the Ganga River.

Souces have also revealed that “An important event leads Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor) and Isha (Alia Bhatt) to Nagarjuna’s character as the story unfolds in an ancient temple in Varanasi before moving to the Himalayas. The film’s antagonists Mouni Roy and Saurav Gujjar also come into play because of Nagarjuna’s track.”

In this fantasy drama directed by Ayan Mukherjee, Ranbir Kapoor plays the lead role named Shiva and Alia Bhatt plays the female lead named Isha. The film also stars Stalwarts Amitabh Bachchan and Akkineni Nagarjuna who play key roles in the upcoming movie produced by Karan Johar, which is likely to release during the summer of 2020.
