Recently, the ultimate Bhai of Bollywood has taken to social media to announce that the venture that will be released for Eid next year will be a sequel to his previous hit ‘Kick’ as his film with Alia Bhatt titled ‘Inshallah’ gets shelved. This Salman-Alia starrer would have been directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
The action-comedy ‘Kick’ was a hit and the movie had Jacqueline Fernandez paired opposite the star and Nawazuddin Siddiqui played the antagonist. If the speculations are to be believed, Jacqueline is still the main contender for the female lead of this project. A source close to the movie says, “Chances are that Jacqueline will be in the film. The final decision will be with Salman. He is of the favor that Jacqueline should do the film.”
The news of Salman Khan playing the role of Devil aka Devi Lal Singh in this sequel has created quite a stir among the fans and cine buffs. Only Salman and time can tell on who the female lead in Kick 2 would be! Watch out for this space for more updates from this project!
